If you could use 5-10X the current number of REFERRALS you get in your offline local business or career, stick around and keep reading.
Deadline tonight....
Hello!
<
For the better part of a year now, I've been listening to a podcast called, simply, the Referrals Podcast.
>
It's founder and co-host, Michael Maher, is a real estate agent who apparently holds a record for getting 500 referrals in one year.
>
He has a best selling book called 7L: The Seven Levels of Communication: Go From Relationships to Referrals.
>
It's one of those parable type books with a business related message so there aren't a whole lot of specific details on how to use his system for getting referrals.
>
I'll CLIFF NOTE it for you, his biggest secret for getting lots of referrals is to hold EVENTS for your customers, clients, patients etc. and anyone else who has or who is LIKELY to give you a referral for whatever business you are in. I'll refer to them as your SPHERE from now on.
>
An example of an event is... I LIKE YOU A LATTE...you invite your sphere to meet you at a coffee shop and you'll buy their coffee.
>
The idea behind holding an event like this is it gives you a GREAT excuse to contact your sphere in a non-salesy way.
.
While they're drinking their coffee you can chat about whatever and reinforce in their mind that you should be their top choice whenever they need the products or services you sell.
>
If you invite 20, you'll be lucky if 10 showed up BUT they'll all appreciate being invited.
>
The $60 or $70 you might spend on buying their coffee is a far better use of your money than the same amount spent on any form of advertising to strangers.
.
And if you follow his advice, you won't even be paying the $60 or $70 because you'll get SPONSORS for your event to foot the bill.
>
There are no end to the type and size of events you can hold...some examples might be...
>
-Photos with Santa or the Easter Bunny
>
-A Day at a Family Fun Farm
>
-An Afternoon at the Movies
>
-Happy Hour of Appreciation at a Bar or Restaurant
>
and many more.
.
Anyway, today they had a webinar selling their EVENT MASTERY program...normally $997 but only $297 for a limited time.
>
It's a 7 week online course, with classes on Mondays and Fridays. (the following are screen captures I took from the webinar)
?
.
Unfortunately, I don't think a replay of the webinar will be sent out but I found an info page about Event Mastery which you can read by clicking here.
.
I'm investing in this program to help my clients get more referrals in their businesses.
>
If you would like to LOOK OVER MY SHOULDER as I take notes on the training, you can do that for only $37 if you sign up before TONIGHT at 11:59PM.
(if you are currently in the Affiliate Ground Zero program contact me for a special offer)
>
The actual training starts on Monday, October 14th...Columbus Day.
>
As usual, as a member of this "follow-along" program you won't get logins, pdfs, bonuses or access to videos meant for people who invest with the vendor for the full amount.
>
You'll get access to my notes about the training and how I'm implementing for my clients. And you'll get access to me for any questions you may have for your particular situation.
>
My notes will be accessible via a password-protected webpage.
>
If you've read enough and you're ready to join, click here to invest $37, one time.
>
I took a bunch of screen captures from the webinar and I think they will give you more details about what the training is about...
>
NOTE: This training is not just for Real Estate Agents. It will work for ALL professions and businesses with local customers, clients or patients.
.
That's all the screen captures I have.

One of the reasons events are so powerful for referrals is they give you a reason to contact your database without selling anything.
>
If you're human, you're probably reluctant to call your sphere asking for referrals for any number of reasons.
>
You know how when you get a phone call, some names on your Caller ID make you cringe or wince or send them to voice mail?
>
Your name will do that if the only reason you ever called people was to sell them something or pretend you were interested in what was new in their life.
>
Calling to invite your sphere to an event feels GREAT!
>
After an event or two, people will eagerly answer your call to find out what fun new event you have planned.
>
Most won't be able to attend an event but they will appreciate the invitation AND your call may jog their memory about someone they know who needs your products or services....or remind them to use you again.
>
And the extra nice part about EVENTS is you can often make money on them by getting SPONSORS for the events.
>
Who could sponsor one of your events?
>
Anyone who benefits from you getting more clients.
>
Anyone in a non-competing business who wants to reach the same customer base.
>
Anyone in an adjacent business.
>
For example, in the case of real estate, who else benefits from the sale of a house?
-Mortgage people
-Home inspectors
-Appraisers
.
If you're already active in real estate you likely have someone in each of those professions you'd recommend.
>
Give them a call, tell them about your event and how you're going to have X number of people and offer them a sponsorship.
>?
If they are reluctant, say "no problem, I'll give (their competitor) a call." 🙂
>
In any case, all will be revealed in the training and you'll get all the highlights on what do to and say and when to put on great events.
<
If you have the $297 to invest, by all means join up with them and go to it.
>
