Online Arbitrage or how to get profitable
product flips without ever leaving your house...

If you're reading this now, you're in my Flipping Project group.

That group has been primarily focused on RETAIL ARBITRAGE...going to stores on the hunt for products you can resell for a profit.

The challenge is, the products may or may not be there and the only way to know, is to go.
.
With the holiday season approaching the stores will start to get crowded and the competition for profitable items will be fierce.

For that reason I started to look for ways to do ONLINE ARBITRAGE.
.
In other words, buying things on websites, getting them shipped to me or held for my pickup at local stores and reselling them for a profit on eBay, Amazon or locally.

My first foray into this was yesterday and I landed a potentially huge winner...
.

This book is now sitting on my kitchen table.
.
Yesterday, I was alerted that it was available from the Barnes and Noble's website.
.
When I got there, it was gone but it WAS available at my local B&N store so I ordered it for $33-ish.
.
That seems a lot for what is a thin, 20 year old, paperback book BUT...
.
On eBay...
.
On Amazon...
.

This book was first published 20 years ago but my copy is brand new.
.
I've posted mine on eBay for $137 and we'll see what happens.

I'll also post it on Amazon.

When it sells on one, I'll remove it from the other.

I was alerted to this opportunity via a Youtube video.
.
About a hundred people watched that video as soon as it was posted so by the time I got to BN.com the book was sold out online but I was lucky to find one locally.
.
That's the challenge in this business when you rely on groups where lots of people get the same leads at the same time.
.
Some of the groups I'm in ($40-$75 per month) have over 1000 members so the competition is fierce.
.
The guy who gave me the book lead above uses a software program called...

In a nutshell TA will search over 900 websites that sell products and compare the prices of those products to the same product on Amazon.com.
.
You can set your own criteria for profitability and other metrics and it will find you products you can buy on one website and resell on Amazon or eBay or even locally if you are so inclined.

Imagine sitting down at the computer, pressing some buttons and getting a list of hundreds of potentially profitable products that you can order from home and have delivered or held for you at a local store.
.
And imagine you are the only one seeing those leads at the moment.
.
That's the power this software gives you.
.
Hundreds of dollars in potential profits every day.
.
Of course, we don't have unlimited budgets so we can't take advantage of all of those opportunities.
.
And as you might expect, something like this doesn't come cheap...
.

To get the full functionality, which would give you the most opportunities, you'd need to invest $169 per month. 
.
That's $129 per month for TA and then $40 per month for Amazon's Professional Seller account which you'd need to run the software. 
.
You'll also need to spend time learning all the ins and outs of the software which isn't easy either.   
.
An investment like that , in time AND money, doesn't really make sense unless you're already making hundred of dollars in profit every month. 
.
If that's you, I highly recommend you get your own membership in TA. 
.
The other option is to join a small group of people who have access to the program and share the leads only with those in the group.

I'm starting one of those groups. 
.
Group 1 will be limited to 10 people at most. 
.
Every month, group members will get at least 60 profitable leads you can buy online without having to leave your house. 
.
It will be your decision if you resell those items on Amazon or eBay or locally. 
.
Now realize this isn't just me pushing some buttons and sharing the output with you. 
.
I'll have to go through hundreds of search results to make sure every thing is accurate. 
.
The software isn't perfect and further research has to be done on each lead.

Among the stuff I'll be checking for members...

1) Is the item actually in stock and can it be ordered online?  The software might have it wrong. 
.
2) Is the Amazon price accurate? 
.
3) Does the profit and ROI make it a worthwhile flip? 
.
4) Is there too much competition? 
.
5) Is it a popular product that sells frequently?
.
Once I find a winner, I'll add the info to a database all members will have access to and I'll send a text to members to alert them to the new opportunities.

I found one guy on Fiverr who does something similar for his clients...

He charges $25 for just 5 profitable leads and $100 for 20.   Yeowch!
.
As a member of Group 1 you'll get at least 60 leads per month for only $47. 
.
If you sign up for two months, you'll get at least 120 leads for only $77. 
.
At the moment, these are 1 time charges. 
.

At the end of December, I'll decide if I want to continue providing these leads.

I'll continue the 100 Days of Flipping Project as I have so no worries...that will continue as before with regular updates.
