The 100 Day
Consistency Challenge

May 15, 2019 to August 22, 2019

.

This idea came as a result of an email I received on May 6, 2019.  The subject line of the email was...
-
"A 100% Guaranteed Way To Get More Clients This Year"
.
Odds are you don't have clients...or you aren't looking for clients.
>
That's OK...keep reading.
>
The email continued...
<
Every day we get inundated with Facebook ads shouting about new high tech software and marketing funnels that will supposedly win us more clients.
>
You do not need elaborate Customer Relationship systems, apps, funnels or software to make a lot more money.
>
You only need to do three things...
>
1.
Reach out to lots of companies that could be helped by your product or service.
>
2.
Explain what you do intelligently and sincerely.
>
3.
Stay in touch with them, by educating them and not being irritating. Is that really all you have to do to get lots of clients this year?
>
Yes, that's all you have to do.
>
...if all you did was these three things, your business would grow enormously.
>
OK...back to Leo here
.
>

I actually think the MOST important part of that email was the last 10 words which were...
>
Just keep coming back to doing those three things.
>
Daily.
>
Daily action toward whatever goal you have is going to get you there....eventually.
'
It might be fast or it might be slow but consistent DAILY action toward any goal will change your life.
>

>

Here are some of the things members will be doing during this first 100 Day Challenge...

-Exercise on my stationery bike for 10 minutes each day

-Eat a raw salad each day

-Send 1 prospecting emails everyday for my business

-Do a minimum of 1 hour of paperwork each day......sorting, organizing and get in a better place than I am now with this project.

.
Your daily action might be...
.
-walking 10,000 steps
or
-reading a chapter in a book
or
-writing 100 words of your new book
or
-sending an email to a prospect
or
-putting up a blog post
or
-eating only XXXX calories for the day
or
-doing 10 pushups
or
-10 minutes of meditation
or
Keeping a food diary
or
-Keeping a journal of your expenses
or
Whatever small action, which over time, will get you to your goal.
>
But for most of us, myself included, stumble with consistency...the daily part.
>
We start out with great intentions all revved up but at some point we stop.
>
I started out the year with a stack of 400 pre-stamped postcards.
>
My goal was to send 5 per day to prospects until all 400 were gone.   I made it from January 2nd to February 6th and then stopped.
>
Less than half are gone.  The stack sits there...mocking me.
>
One of the issues was, I really didn't have a penalty if I failed.  Yeah sure, I miss the opportunity to get a new client BUT that doesn't hurt me today.
.
I also didn't have anyone holding me accountable.
>
So I had the idea for a group of people working together who wanted to develop consistency and needed support BUT I've done groups like this in the past and they always seem to fizzle out.
>
My challenge, therefore was to come up with a way to encourage people to stick with it...whatever IT was for them and I think I've come up with a fun way.

.

>
If you join the 100 Day Consistency Challenge AND actually do something every day toward your goal, I'll refund your investment at the end of the challenge.
>
And this thing you do doesn't have to be big...it SHOULDN'T be big.
>
It should be something you could accomplish in a very small window of time...Even if you had a close family member in the hospital and you were the only person who was available to be there. (can you tell I have a friend in this very situation at the moment?)
>
The primary idea here is to get into a new, productive HABIT which, over time, will improve your life.
>
Anyway, how are we going to track this?
>
You'll have to report in...every day.
>
I'll start a PRIVATE, SECRET Facebook group where you can post your daily progress report.
>
Not on Facebook?

>
Send me an email with what you did.
>
Send me a text message with what you did.
>
I don't really care how you report, only that you do.
>
What happens if you miss a day?
>
You forfeit $23.50 of your investment.  Miss 2 days...another $23.50 is forfeited etc.  But don't worry...you won't owe any money if you miss a bunch of days.  You just won't get any back.  🙂
>
No excuses accepted.  NONE.
>
"I forgot to hit send"..."My internet was down"..."I posted it on FB but I don't see it anymore"..."I got hit by a car while crossing the street, trying to post my progress report"..."my parrot escaped and I spent the rest of the day looking for her" (yup...another friend)
>
Those are all perfectly fine excuses BUT you still lose a portion of your investment.
>
So, when you post a progress report, do it early enough in the day to get an acknowledgement from me...so you're sure I saw it...10PM NY time.
>
This whole thing might seem confusing but at it's core...
>
-commit to a simple daily action...
:
-do that action...
_
-report that you've done it... in one of three ways and do this for 100 days and you'll get your investment refunded.

Ask the question developed by Gary Keller...

<

“What’s the one thing you can do, such that by doing it, everything else will be easier or unnecessary?”

For many people, increasing their income would make a lot of things easier.
>
If that's you, you'll want to make your daily action something that attempts to make a sale...or it might be an outreach to a prospect.  Maybe you'll post something on ebay or craigslist for sale.
>
If you need feedback on your ideas, let me know.
.
So there you have it.  "The 100 Day Consistency Challenge."  Only you know if sticking with something is an issue for you.  If so, hop on board.
>
By August 22nd you should have a nice new habit you can use to propel you to wherever you want to go.
