I'm not exactly sure who said it but my new favorite saying is "$200 a day keeps the 9-5 job away!"

Even $100 a day during a pandemic would be great.

$100 a WEEK would help a lot of people.

For that reason, I'm starting my 100 Days of Flipping Project.
.
I'll be blogging daily about my adventures and you'll get a link when it's ready.
.
For those unsure of how this whole flipping business works, you buy stuff for one price and resell it somewhere else for higher.
.
To find things to sell, you might roam around garage sales or local stores using your smart phone to scan and do research on how much the thing you're looking at can be resold for.
.
That's discouraging and time-consuming.
.
You might do online research before you head out so you know what you're looking for and what you could make in profit. (much smarter)
.
In some cases you might find deals that don't even require you to leave home.
.
You could buy the item online, say at Walmart.com and resell it somewhere else for a nice profit.
.
To sell, you might place an ad on Facebook or Craigslist or Amazon or eBay.
.
You might know someone with an interest in what you have and you might contact them directly.
.
Three Week Update...10/9/2020
.
I made my first purchase of something to flip on September 17th.
.
It was two lawn mowers and I paid $73 each or $146 for both.
.
I sold one for $80 and one for $100...using Craigslist and FB Marketplace.
.
Not a huge profit but a profit..
It took 2 weeks to sell those and I took a lower profit because mowing season is coming to an end fast and I didn't want them hanging around all winter.
.
I bought three patio heaters for $119 each or $357 for the lot.
.
I sold all three for $600 meaning a profit of $243. Those sold in one day using an ad on Craigslist.
.
This week, on eBay I sold a collection of 12 P90X DVDs I've had for 12 years but the buyer never paid so I relisted them.
.
I did sell and got paid for a portable disk drive.
.
I paid $16.05 for it and sold it for $29 BUT after fees and shipping my profit was... 42 cents!
.
The mistake I made there was promising priority mail shipping. That would have saved me $3 and dramatically improved my ROI.
.
I have a few more small things for sale on eBay but so far, after three weeks my profit is about $277.
.
Not huge but a nice start.
.
I've made mistakes, like anyone new at anything but I'm excited to continue.
.
You'll run out of money before you run out of opportunities in the flipping business.
.
I'm a serial "tryer of things". You may be too.
.
If I actually thought about all the things I quit too early, I'd be really depressed.
.
Stick with this. It's a valuable skill to have.
.
So far, I've spent $282.50 on my education.
.
In the first 3 days of doing this I bought two lawnmowers with a profit of $75-$150 coming soon.
.
I own three pieces of electronics that will make me a minimum of $500 in profit by mid-November.
.
Last night I found a toy I can get for $18 and resell for $40-$80.
.
On September 22nd I found this lead...Walmart has these in some stores for less than $2!
.
.
.
Since it's the end of pool season...around me anyway, you could buy them and store them till next year.
.
If you could find 10...spend $20 total for all 10 and next pool season sell for $30 each...your $20 becomes $300.
.

It seems Sept 22nd was Pool Salt day...Local Walmart's in my area also have these for $2.40...

There is SO much opportunity if you know what to look for and because I spent $230.50 I know what to look for AND how to look for it.
